This Week’s Student Spotlight Intern is Hayley Peterson. Hayley was a summer intern at Wegmans! Hayley says Wegmans is fast-paced and has a constantly changing environment from day to day. Her responsibilities ranged from scheduling, reviewing donations, working in the Accounting Office, and fundraising for the charity Cradles to Crayons. One of the best parts of her internship was seeing real world applications of what she learned in her business classes. Hayley’s advice to students, especially incoming freshmen, is not to be scared to put yourself out there and speak to companies. You never know what’s going to happen.
