This Week’s Student Spotlight Intern is Carlos Pimentel. Carlos is a Supply Chain major and MIS minor. This summer, he was a Performance Reporting Intern for First Data. On a typical day, Carlos tested the company’s IVR systems and IBM Watson’s assistant “Mave” by First Data to increase call center efficiency. Carlos says the best part of his Internship was the relationships and connections that he built along the 10-week program. 
Here’s some advice Carlos has for everyone: “Know your worth and don’t settle for the first thing that comes your way. At the end of the day, the majority of us are going to spend the majority of our lives working to sustain our lifestyle. The biggest favor we can do for ourselves is to find a passion for what we are doing with that time.”
