Our Foundational Human Resources Leadership Development Program (F-HRLDP) provides a unique opportunity to be part of this mission while building an extraordinary career foundation in HR.
Foundational HRLDP Full-Time Program Description:
The F-HRLDP is a two year long rotational program designed to develop extraordinary, highly motivated early in career talent in their journey as outstanding HR professionals. You will experience rich, differentiated rotations, develop critical HR and leadership capabilities through an integrated curriculum, and build strong connections across a broad organizational network.
Through the rotational assignments, you will have the opportunity to be part of teams engaging in strategic collaboration with J&J businesses and functions on local, regional and/or a global level in diverse areas (e.g. may include Workforce Analytics, Employee / Labor Relations, Talent Management / Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Global Learning Delivery and more). You may diagnose needs and provide strategic solutions as an HR Business Partner across our business sectors, R&D, enterprise Supply Chain or Corporate Functions. All rotational assignments and your first role upon HRLDP graduation are determined by the HRLDP Program Office.
Description of the Foundational HRLDP Internship:
The F-HRLDP Internship is a 10-12 week program providing an opportunity to demonstrate the potential to be one of our extraordinary HR leaders of the future. During the internship, participants will undertake a project-based assignment. This will offer opportunities to expand knowledge and experience in one of our core areas of HR practice, which include (but are not limited to):
Employee and Labor Relations
Learning Design and Operations
HR Knowledge Management
Compensation Administration, and more.
On completion of the F-HRLDP Internship, Interns will be considered for hire into the F-HRLDP full time program. Offer decisions are made based on internship performance and business need.

Sophisticated critical and strategic thinking skills, with keen curiosity, aptitude for problem solving and willingness to take risk and challenge the status quo
You should meet the following requirements:
You are legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
Completing a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or MBA with focus in Business, HR Management, Industrial-Organizational psychology or other HR-related disciplines and intended graduation date between December 2021 – July 2022.
Up to two years of full-time professional work experience is preferred, however candidates with experience beyond that may still be considered
Previous HR experience is preferred, but not required
An overall cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher is preferred
Geographically mobile for the duration of the internship (May-August 2021)
Fluency in English is required. For internships outside of the US, fluency in the local language is required. For internships located in the US, fluency in a second language is preferred
