Employer Relations Fall Kick-Off Calls

We invite you to attend one of our live kick-off Zoom sessions to help you plan for your fall recruiting with us. We will host a brief 30-minute presentation to cover all the "need-to-know" details and then open the session to questions you and other employers may have. Topics include: employer recruiting protocols, career fairs, information sessions, job postings, interviewing, student organization involvement, and diversity and inclusiveness recruiting.

Smeal Undergraduate Mock Career Fair - FA26
- Monday, September 14th, 2026, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Location: Smeal College of Business Atrium, University Park, PA
- This event is open to Smeal Business Career Center Corporate Partners and CSCR Corporate Supporters ONLY!
  - This event is a practice career fair for all Smeal undergraduate students to attend. As a company recruiter, you will provide valuable feedback to Smeal students on their pitch, resume, attire, and overall professionalism at our Mock Career Fair. You'll have the opportunity to engage with students in a realistic practice setting where your insights can make a real impact on the students' job-seeking skills. You'll be reviewing students on key criteria, such as their ability to introduce themselves, maintain eye contact, deliver a strong pitch with a confident tone, effectively describe their experiences and skills, demonstrate knowledge about your company, and convey positivity and enthusiasm. Join us in preparing students to excel at the upcoming career fairs. Historically, we have had between 250 to 400 students attend this event with 15 to 20 companies in attendance.

Penn State Fall Career Days 2026
- Wednesday and Thursday, September 16th & 17th, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Location: Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, PA
  - The Fall Career Days allow employers to interact with all Penn State students during this fair. Fall Career Days is a university-wide recruitment event that brings 100s of employers on campus to connect with students regarding potential careers. The event takes place over two days; the first is an all-recruitment type job fair with on-site interviews offered on the day after. The fair is open to students of any academic year, major, or campus.
