What were some highlights from your internship?
As an intern in Grant Thornton’s Pittsburgh office, my fellow Pittsburgh interns and I participated in the national firm-wide Key Client Project competition. As a team, we researched one of the firm’s clients and identified new service offerings for Grant Thornton to provide. After pitching our ideas in a presentation to firm leaders, I’m pleased to say that our team made it through all three rounds of competition and was named the national winner for the competition. As our prize, the firm will fly us to the headquarters in Chicago where we will go to a Cubs game in the firm’s box with none other than the CEO, Mike McGuire!
